Sandscape - cancelled

Unfortunately, we are forced to cancel all performances of “Sandscape” because visas for the Nigerian artists were refused.
We deeply regret this situation and appreciate your understanding!

Instead, we will be showing
Ein Loch ist meistens rund (A Hole in the Air and Everywhere) at the E-Werk Bad Homburg on 8 March
and
Anziehsachen at Theaterhaus Frankfurt on 5 and 6 March.

Rhythmic play with lots of sand

How does it feel when sands runs through hands, over umbrellas and into buckets? Sand whirls through the air, leaving imprints or lines. Sand creates new games and landscapes to be discovered over and over again in a rhythmic game utterly devoid of words, focusing entirely on the visual and acoustic senses.

Director Joshua Alabi and performer Inyang Aniefiok Sunday were participants of the next generation - projects at “Starke Stücke” 2016 and 2015. The piece “Sandscape” was developed during a workshop in South Africa with Barbara Kölling from Helios Theater.

Kininso Koncepts, Lagos (NG)

PERFORMANCE: Tolu Aina, Joy Akrah, Jubril Gbadamosi, Anifiok Inyang, Michael Ajimati
DIRECTOR: Joshua Alabi
COSTUMES: Abisoye Kadiku
