Child Wanted! (Homegrown)

The theater producers among the co-presenters of "Starke Stücke" present their latest productions in our category Homegrown.

"We have a child, don't we? A beautiful and sweet child." - "We still had one yesterday!" - "You misplaced it!" Thus begins four parents’ absurdly cheerful search for a mysterious child who will turn their lives upside down forever. Does the child even exist? Or is it still to be born? The parents have increasingly absurd ideas about what a child could be. But does the ideal child even exist? And what about the ideal parents?

Theaterhaus Ensemble, Frankfurt am Main

Performance: Günther Henne, Michael Meyer, Uta Nawrath, Susanne Schyns
Direction: Silvia Andringa
Dramaturgy: Susanne Freiling
