Jubilee celebration 30 years of „Starke Stücke“
30 years of “Starke Stücke” is a compliment to the initiators: People at the Freies Theaterhaus Frankfurt, the Gallus Theatre and the Youth Welfare Office of the City of Frankfurt had a simple idea at the time: “We want to invite inspiring international theatre artists, in order to get to know them and in order to inspire Frankfurt audiences. And we will call it ‘Starke Stücke’ – literally ‘Strong Pieces’. (The belief that this could work was indeed a strong one). Today, the festival shapes entire generations of audiences, is firmly established in the entire Rhine-Main region with over 35 participating venues and takes intense artistic exchange just as seriously as the lively dialogue with its audience. “Starke Stücke” invites you to join us. There will be celebrations and dancing. Here's to the next 30 years!
