In their workshops, the collective “Radikale Töchter” (Radical Daughters) explores effective and unusual forms of political participation. Their training plan, which combines action, art, and politics, is designed to spark interest and show how easy it can be to take action.
We are delighted that they are guests at the festival and will be working with students from Schwalbach am Taunus on the topic of action art for a week.

Practising democracy
The ‘Starke Stücke’ festival makes democracy accessible. Artists, pedagogues and audiences want to practise democracy together. To make this happen, we explore libraries, classrooms and public spaces in the region and, together with young people, investigate how cultural spaces can be reappropriated and transformed into spaces of poetry and political practice.
We are delighted to be able to realise our project as part of World Design Capital Frankfurt Rhine-Main 2026 with funding from the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft and the Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain.
