On the Bench
Baenken
Benches are found in parks, gardens and underground stations. Here we rest, enjoy nature or wait until it's time to move on. And sometimes we meet interesting people on that bench, who we would otherwise never meet: we encounter an old lady who just wants her peace and quiet and tries to keep life at a distance from her bench: the boy, the dog, the newspaper reader, the bird. Does it work? Hopefully not! In a quiet and sensitive puppet theatre play, we are lovingly reminded that we are not alone.
