Berlin 2005. The last thing Hatun Sürücü heard before her death was: “Do you regret your sins?” This question does not fade away with her last breath. It continues to echo and finds its way into the lives of others who are fighting the same battle. “inliebe” (“with love”) tells the story of two friends caught between hope and despair, between dreams and heartbreaking reality. They find references to their own lives, stories come to life, while their friendship fluctuates between expectation and loss, between celebration and mourning. The stage fills with words that were never spoken and with the deep pain that remains when love meets hatred and violence.
